It cross-reacts somewhat with types 18 and 19 cytokeratins (46000 dalton and 40000 dalton, respectively).
The antibody can be used to detect cytokeratin released by neoplastic cells into serum.

Check all containers for leakage or breakage.
Remove the frozen cells from the dry ice packaging and immediately place the cells at a temperature below _x001f_-130°C, preferably in liquid nitrogen vapor, until ready for use.
Complete medium
RPMI 1640 medium with 2 mM L-glutamine adjusted to contain 1.15 g/L sodium bicarbonate, 4.5 g/L glucose, 10 mM HEPES, and 1.0 mM sodium pyruvate, 90%; fetal bovine serum, 10%.

Subculturing procedure
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml.
Reagents for cryopreservation
Complete growth medium supplemented with 10% (v/v) DMSO
