Constitutive Gln125,232-lysostaphin expression directed by a modified version of human interleukin-2 signal peptide for secretion (PhCMV-hIL2*-Lys-pA). hIL2*-Lys was PCR amplified from pYL33 using OYL141 (5’- CCCCCCAAGCTTCCACCATGAGGATGCAGCTGCTCTTGCTCATTGCCCTAAGTCTCGCACTTGTCACAAACAGTGCTACTCACGAACACTC-3’, HindIII underlined) and OYL73 (5’-TGCCTAGTCTAGATTATTTGATAGTGCCCCACA-3’, XbaI underlined), digested with HindIII/XbaI and cloned into pcDNA3.1(+) (HindIII/XbaI).
