Description描述：The donor had been diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 70. The culture was initiated on 9/12/00 by transformation of lymphocytes with Epstein Barr virus. The culture grows in suspension and the cell morphology is spherical. The karyotype is 46,XY with 8% of the cells examined showing random chromosome loss/gain and 2% showing random chromosomal aberrations. Lymphoblast cultures taken from blood samples from this same donor prior to the onset of prostate cancer at ages 51 and 57 are GM01310 and GM13336, respectively, and are available from the NIGMS Human Genetic Cell Repository. Fibroblast cultures taken from skin samples from this same donor prior to the onset of prostate cancer at ages 51 and 57 are GM00967 and GM13335, respectively, and are also available from the NIGMS Human Genetic Cell Repository.
