Description描述：Holstein breed. The pulmonary artery was removed 30 minutes post-mortem on 5/08/89. Strips of the medial layer were removed, minced, and used as explants to initiate the culture. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The culture is a mosaic with karyotype: 59,XY,t(17;17)/60,XY; balanced; 24%/76%. The culture tested positive for alpha-smooth muscle actin and negative for the endothelial cell-specific von Willebrand factor (immunofluorescence assays). A matching lung fibroblast culture from this calf is AG10484. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product.
