Description描述：ND01039 (Essential Tremor Syndrome; heterozygous for exon 4 deletion in parkin) is the father of ND01037 (Parkinson Disease; homozygous exon 4 deletion in parkin), ND01038, and ND01040. ND01039 is father of a total of three affected children out of seven from a consanguineous marriage (only one affected sib has a sample banked: ND01037). Dogu et al. 2004 characterizes this family (Movement Disorders 19: 812-828); see also Kitada et al. 1998 (Nature 392: 605-608 for more about parkin exon 4 deletion and its role in Parkinson Disease. This family is described in pedigree NINDS0104.
