NTCC® NIKS cell line is a near-diploid, spontaneously immortalized human keratinocyte cell line. It was derived from neonatal foreskin keratinocytes and has been shown to maintain many of the characteristics of normal human keratinocytes, including the ability to differentiate and form a stratified epithelium. NIKS cells have been used in a variety of research applications, including studies on skin development, wound healing, and gene therapy.
