通用定义 / General Definition:BioVector® BL-29 是一种源自人类鼻咽癌 (Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma, NPC) 的永生化上皮细胞系。它是研究鼻咽癌生物学特性的经典体外模型之一。BL-29 细胞常被用于探索 NPC 细胞的代谢重编程、细胞信号传导失调以及对放射治疗和化学治疗药物的反应机制。与 BL-31 和 BL-33 类似,该细胞系在模拟东亚高发的鼻咽恶性肿瘤方面具有重要的科研价值。
BioVector® BL-29 is an immortalized epithelial cell line derived from Human Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC). It is one of the classic in vitro models used to study the biological characteristics of nasopharyngeal cancer. BL-29 cells are frequently utilized to explore metabolic reprogramming, dysregulated cellular signaling, and the mechanisms of response to radiotherapy and chemotherapeutic agents. Similar to BL-31 and BL-33, this cell line holds significant research value in modeling nasopharyngeal malignancies, which have a high incidence in East Asia.

2. 培养条件

传代比例: 1:3 至 1:4;建议在细胞汇合度达到 85% 左右时进行传代。
3. 细胞应用
放疗敏感性评估: 研究 BL-29 细胞在电离辐射后的 DNA 损伤修复能力。

4. 注意事项

2. Culture Conditions
Basal Medium: BioVector® RPMI-1640 or DMEM Medium
Serum Supplement: 10% BioVector® Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Incubation: 37 degrees Celsius, 5% CO2, Saturated Humidity
Subculturing: 1:3 to 1:4 ratio; subculture when cells reach approximately 85% confluence.

4. Key Usage Notes

Hypoxia Studies: Since NPC tumors often harbor a hypoxic microenvironment, BL-29 cells exhibit significant phenotypic changes when cultured under low-oxygen conditions.
Note: BL-29 cells should be handled under Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) conditions. To ensure experimental reproducibility, BioVector® recommends using standardized media and high-quality FBS, and suggests maintaining a low passage number during functional assays.
