BioVector® Geobacillus stearothermophilus 是一种专性嗜热的革兰氏阳性杆菌。该菌株在 55°C 至 65°C 的高温下生长最为旺盛。由于其产生的芽孢具有极强的耐热性，它被全球公认为压力蒸汽灭菌 (Autoclave) 效果评价的标准生物指示物。如果这种芽孢在灭菌程序后被杀灭，则可以判定该灭菌过程对其他绝大多数致病微生物也是有效的。

BioVector® Geobacillus stearothermophilus is an obligate thermophilic, Gram-positive rod. This bacterium thrives at high temperatures between 55°C and 65°C. Due to the extreme thermal resistance of its spores, it is recognized globally as the standard biological indicator for validating steam sterilization (autoclaving). If these spores are inactivated during a cycle, the process is deemed effective against the vast majority of other pathogenic microorganisms.

1. 核心生物学特征

• 验证标准： 符合 ISO 11138 标准，用于医疗器械、制药工业管道及实验室废弃物的灭菌达标检测。

• Bst DNA 聚合酶： 该菌是 Bst 酶的天然来源。Bst 酶具有极强的链置换活性，是 LAMP (环介导等温扩增) 技术的心脏。

3. 食品安全验证

• UHT 灭菌： 用于评估超高温瞬时灭菌对罐头或乳制品中嗜热腐败菌的清除能力。

注意 / Note: 培养该菌必须使用能达到 55°C 以上的恒温培养箱。普通 37°C 环境会导致该菌“休眠”或无法检出。在处理灭菌后的指示剂时，请务必在洁净区域操作，防止环境杂菌污染导致的假阳性结果。

Culturing this strain requires an incubator capable of maintaining temperatures above 55°C; it will not grow at 37°C. When handling processed indicators, ensure a clean environment to avoid false positives caused by ambient microbial contamination.
